From observing clinicians to card sorts with home computer users, what is the seed of your company's innovation, what helps you grow?

third brain studio can uncover those nuggets, insights from your consumers to inform the next innovation.

Most recently, Chief Creative Janna Kimel had the opportunity to work in the Research and Development arm of Intel’s Digital Health group, doing research, concept development and usability work. While there, she had more than a brush with greatness doing field research with Stephen Hawking and his caregivers, re-designing his Intel system and reducing calls for technical support.

Since leaving Intel, Janna has continued to focus on medical product development with expertise in front end research, product requirements, usability testing, and soft-product design.

Previously, Janna ran Accessible Threads, a consultancy focused on soft-goods design and prototyping. Accessible Threads began as a company altering and manufacturing clothing for seniors and people with special needs.

third brain studio is an excellent opportunity to blend her two passions of research and textiles into one new business.

When she manages to pry her fingers off the keyboard or step away from the interview process, Janna can be found knitting, hiking, dabbling in watercolors, stretching out at a yoga class, or making something craft-y.
